It goes without saying that 2022 was one of the busiest years ever for law firms. Business development and marketing teams recruited in full force at all levels. Many firms created new roles to meet both partner and client demands. However, there was also a large volume of replacement roles as those who had been waiting for the job market to pick up after Covid, finally secured new roles. This created significant movement in the job market with demand for good candidates very much outweighing supply.
