Senior Bid Manager . 12 month fixed term contract in mid-sized City law firm that offers a great culture alongside the opportunity to be creative and impactful. This innovative mid-sized law firm has really invested in its bids, business development and marketing function of the last few years. Leading the bid function, this role will drive change and innovation in the bid function to achieve continuous improvement. The team is a high performing and well regarded, and works collaboratively with the wider BD and client teams.
On a day-to-day basis, this will involve:
• End-to-end bid management – playing an advisory and influencing role, guiding partners on major bids from inception to completion.
• Gathering bid feedback to identify key trends. Using this to make improvements to the bidding process;
• Acting as team leader to the bids team;
• Coaching and developing the bid team and partners;
• Delivering strategic bid projects such as the implementation of new tools and software;
You will have significant bid management experience gained in a large professional services firm – ideally a major law firm but those from a large accounting, consulting or insurance will also be considered. Influencing and persuasion skills are key for this role as well as attention to detail and strong project management skills.
