The firm advises some of the largest blue-chip companies globally and is consistently recognised for its forward-thinking approach.

    In this exciting Business Development Executive role, you’ll be aligned to their world-leading Intellectual Property (IP) practice, where over 70% of the work is international. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team’s business development and marketing initiatives, working closely with high-profile clients in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    This is a full mix marketing and BD role which, on a day-to-day basis, will involve:

    • Working closely with the BD Manager on flagship events, including INTA and the International IP retreat
    • Support client development ideas for top IP clients
    • Supporting the preparation of bids, proposals, and credentials
    • Contributing to profile-raising activities, including social media, thought leadership, and communications campaigns
    • Coordinating legal directory submissions for the UK and Netherlands IP practices and subgroups

    This role will sit as part of a small, focused group aligned to IP. This structure fosters close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and tailored support for fee earners. You’ll benefit from continuous guidance from a highly experienced BD Manager, while also having the autonomy to lead on initiatives and develop strong relationships with fee earners.

    You will have access to a wide range of professional training opportunities through their trusted external training partners, as well as expert-led development programs delivered by the highly regarded internal Learning & Development team.

    You will have experience across the full spectrum of Marketing and Business Development (MBD) activities, ideally gained within the legal sector or wider professional services. Experience in planning and delivering events is highly desirable. The team is looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive, and confident in building strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
