Internal Communications Channel Manager (12 month FTC)

Internal Communications Channel Manager in a top international law firm. 12 month FTC, but with potential for longevity. London based with 2 days working from home. Salary up to £78,000 DOE.

This internal comms role for one of the largest, most prestigious global law firms offers the opportunity to really add value.  This firm has one of the best cultures in the legal sector and is a great place to work.  This role will give exposure to the firm’s top leadership team as well as senior stakeholders across all areas of the business.  The role will involve:

• Management of the firm’s global intranet; creating captivating content and measuring readership/engagement.
• Coordinating internal forums to connect senior leaders people across the globe to communicate top down strategy and people news.
• Create videos for senior leaders and major initiatives; as needed, manage video-production projects with external suppliers or in-house AV teams.
• Manage look and feel of key communications channels to ensure they are eye-catching, accessible and on-brand.
• Build strong relationships within the team, with key IT contacts, Brand & Marketing, and with content-owners and contributors across the firm.
• Draft and/or edit content (written, video and graphic) to support major internal campaigns and key communications initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal comms within a complex professional services/B2B organisation (legal is preferred).  You should be able to demonstrate extensive experience of writing content to engage a diverse global audience using multiple channels such as video, podcasts, email etc.  Essential to success in this role is the ability to work well under pressure alongside excellent relationship building.
