    Client Development Director – new appointment in prestigious US law firm. London & Europe remit. Full mix role with a focus on client work.


    This prestigious US law firm is top of its game in a number of disputes areas. It also boasts a really down to earth and friendly culture. It is now looking for a Client Development Director to lead the client, business development and marketing effort for the London and European offices.


    This is a client focused role where you will be supported by a small team across Europe and a wider team in the US, you will:


    • Work with the practice groups to identify and implement projects and initiatives that support business development and marketing goals;
    • Become involved in marketing and BD planning;
    • Play an advisory role to the partners around identifying key clients, cross-selling to key clients and on targeting initiatives. In particular you will work with the partners to target US-based clients of the firm.
    • Lead on major bids, proposals and presentations;
    • Integrate new partners into the business;
    • Oversea and execute marketing and comms initiatives such as events, sponsorships, PR, thought leadership campaigns and directory/award submissions.

    You will have a significant pedigree in business development and client work in a prestigious global or US law firm. Knowledge of and an interest in litigation, disputes and arbitration would be highly advantageous. This role will suit a self-starter who enjoys developing business development and client initiatives.
