Business Development Manager (Disputes and Employment)

BD Manager role focusing on advisory practices in this UK law firm. Various UK office locations. Salary up to £65,000, DOE.

Office locations: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Sheffield, Reading.

This national law firm has ambitious plans for growth, whilst maintaining its relaxed and supportive culture. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to support their Advisory practices, across disputes, litigation and employment. The role will also take ownership of BD for one of the firm’s 5 key sectors, which could be FS, Energy / Infra, Property, Transports or Tech.

The role will include but isn’t limited to:

• Contributing to the planning and delivery of BD activities for the groups;
• Working with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities for the Advisory practices;
• Researching commercial developments within the sectors and making recommendations to the business;
• Understanding the groups’ key clients, and identifying cross selling opportunities;
• Developing relationships with key referral networks;
• Leading the firmwide sector interest group meetings’
• Working on advisory services specific bid content;
• Developing integrated marketing campaigns for the group;
• Working with the Directories Manager on key submissions and awards;

The role will suit a BD Manager or an experienced Senior Executive stepping up. Ideally you will have experience within legal and of working with Disputes lawyers.
