BD Specialist (Transactional Practices)

Business Development Specialist role in a highly established US Law Firm, supporting their transactional practice areas. London based, hybrid working. Salary up to £70,000 DOE

This reputable US Law Firm, that has won many awards, is looking for a BD Specialist to join their London team. Here you will support the transactional practices of the firm which includes: Corporate, M&A and Private Equity. The successful candidate will report into the Senior Client Development Manager who would be an excellent mentor.

Key Duties of the Role include:

• Preparing and updating client materials for pitches;
• Identifying opportunities for lawyers to raise their profiles on the market;
• Collaborating with the research team to produce reports and thought leadership;
• Managing potential speaking opportunities and conference sponsorships;
• Assisting with cross selling initiatives.

The firm are looking for someone with around 4 years of BD and/or Bid experience within the legal sector. Ideally candidates will have exposure to a transactional group, or experience in a large international law firm. Strong written skills and attention to detail is crucial in the role.
