BD Manager (Mining and Consumer Sectors)

BD Manager – key account focused role aligned to the mining and consumer sectors in leading global law firm. Full mix role with key account focus. 12 month FTC.  Hybrid working.

This well-known global law firm is a real challenge to the magic circle and enjoys a great culture.  It is looking for a business development manager to the lead the key client programme for the firm’s mining and consumer sector. This is an initial 12 month maternity cover, but the firm regularly have new opportunities arising, so could lead to further roles.

This is a global role with a particular focus on the EMEA and US region. You will work closely with your counterpart in the Asia-Pacific region to set and deliver the global BD strategy for the mining and consumer sector.

Specifically the role will involve:

• Driving the key client programme for the mining and consumer sector;
• Playing an advisory and coaching role to partners in their client relationship management activities;
• Building internal engagement from key stakeholders globally;
• Identifying opportunities for growth from the key accounts;
• Conducting client listening across the sector clients;.

You must have strong business development and client relationship management experience in a leading international professional services firm and be comfortable in a client facing role.  Experience of the relevant sectors is highly desirable for this role.
