BD Manager (Disputes)

BD Manager role in a leading global law firm, aligned to dispute resolution. London with hybrid working of 2 days from home. Highly competitive salary.

This leading law firm is growing their disputes BD team and is looking for an experienced BD Manager to join, working alongside the Senior BD Manager and Senior BD Executive. There will be lots of room to build the role around an individual, with oppportunities such as working on strategic client targeting, leading a few sub-practices (such as tech or FS disputes) and improving processes and systems for opportunity spotting. The area isn’t overly pitch heavy and the directory submissions are led by the associates, giving this role the freedom to be truly strategic.

Day to day duties will also include:

• Support the DR Partners on planning and profile raising;
• Support the team on the development of the BD strategy for DR;
• Produce and develop the group’s content, campaigns and events;
• Support on the firmwide client strategy and identify opportunities for growth;
• Work with lawyer to develop RFP responses.

The role would suit a legal BD Manager, with a year or two of experience at the Manager level, who’s now looking to grow into a more strategic role. Experience of Disputes isn’t essential, as long as you can demonstrate an interest in the practice.
