BD and Marketing Manager (Tech / Employment groups) 6 month FTC

BD Manager role aligned to tech and employment, in this mid-sized law firm. 6 month cover for long term leave. London based with 2 days working from home. Salary up to £80,000.

This law firm with an excellent reputation across corporate and FS, is looking for a solid BD Manager to come in to cover a 6 month period of long term leave, with a chance of further opportunities as the team grow. The role will cover a few smaller groups, primarily tech and employment.

The role will be incredibly broad, but general duties include:

• Working with lawyers and Partners on refining business plans, identifying market and client trends, and growth opportunities;
• Developing and driving the BD plan and activities for the groups;
• Work closely with the client strategy team to identify cross selling opportunities;
• Working with the Comms team to develop messaging and thought leadership across all channels;
• Developing client facing events in collaboration with the events team, as well as looking at potential sponsorship opportunities;
• Developing credentials and case studies related to your groups for the pitch team;

The role would suit someone with around 6 years of BD experience, from professional services or legal. Ideally candidates will have been working at the Manager level for the last year or so, or be a Senior Executive with some tech or employment experience, who is looking to step up.
