BD and Marketing Manager (ESG)

BD Manager role aligned to ESG, in this mid-sized law firm. Newly created growth role! London based with 2 days working from home. Salary up to £80,000.

This law firm with an excellent reputation across corporate and FS, are growing their BD function, and looking for a BD and Marketing Manager focused on ESG. The firm have some structure in place for ESG BD, and a strong track record around ESG dispute cases as well as some interesting ESG work in the funds team. However they are looking to develop their ESG offering fully as a cross practice and cross sector area. The role has great potential for someone who wants to come in an suggest ideas and grow the role!

The role will be incredibly broad, but general duties include:

• Working with lawyers and Partners on refining business plans, identifying market and client trends, and growth opportunities;
• Developing and driving the BD plan and activities for ESG;
• Work closely with the client strategy team to identify cross selling opportunities from an ESG perspective;
• Working with the Comms team to develop ESG related messaging and thought leadership across all channels;
• Developing client facing events in collaboration with the events team, as well as looking at potential sponsorship opportunities;
• Developing credentials and case studies related to ESG for the pitch team;

The role would suit someone with around 6 years of BD experience, from professional services or legal. Ideally candidates will have been working at the Manager level for the last year or so, or be a Senior Executive with some ESG experience, who is looking to step up.
