Bids Manager

Bids Manager role in one of the world’s leading law firms working on strategic bids for the EMEA region – up to £75,000, London

This major global law firm is recruiting a Bids Manager to join its busy central bids team working across its seven industry sectors. This is a highly regarded function across the practice with an applaudable win rate working on the firm’s most important strategic bids, proposals and RPFs as well as developing bid best practice.

The role will work across the entire bid cycle, including:

• Leading qualification and compliance processes;
• Facilitating scoping/kick-off;
• Providing coaching/guidance to fee earners regarding client engagement throughout the bid cycle;
• Developing an appropriate win strategy, ensuring that responses are client focused response and challenging fee earner thinking;
• Dress rehearsals, presentation coaching and bid feedback;
• Promoting and implementing bid best practice;
• Reporting on bids and ensuring bid management systems are kept up to date.

You will have experience working in a bids function within a professional services/corporate B2B environment as either a Bids Manager or an established Senior Executive. Excellent project management skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential as well as having the gravitas to influence and persuade partners.
