BD Specialist / Senior Specialist (Finance)

BD Specialist role in a well-regarded US law firm aligned to their Finance groups. London based with hybrid working. Salary up to £65,000.

This US law firm, are growing their team in London, and are looking for a new BD Specialist / Senior Specialist to support their Finance practice group (leveraged finance and capital markets). The role will work with a Senior BD Manager in the London office on developing BD and marketing initiatives. Due to the transactional nature of the practice, the role will also support on pitches, but they have pitch automation software in place, allowing the team to work on strategic RFPs.

The roleholder will:

• Support at BD meetings in developing BD plans for the group and individual partners;
• Lead on preparing pitch presentations for the group in London;
• Support on client targeting and updating trackers;
• Lead on relevant client development events;
• Identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities for the Finance group;
• Oversee directory submissions for the practice;

The role would suit a legal BD professional with around 5 years of relevant experience. Ideally candidates will be interested and show commercial knowledge of Leveraged Finance markets and the Private Capital sector.
