This leading boutique law firm has a formidable reputation in the private client space and is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its team on a 14-month FTC. Supporting the Financial Services sector group, this role is essential to the growth of the firm’s client base in Banking, particularly private banking. This role is a 14-month contract covering maternity leave and is aligned to the Financial Services sector. Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will entail:
- Developing and managing an activity programme with agreed growth objectives to build existing and new target client relationships
- Identifying new business development opportunities, coaching partners on business development and cross selling across practice groups
- Managing practice area strategy plans and marketing budgets, and collaborating with Finance and IT to evaluate ROI
- Project managing the pitch process ranging from large panel pitches to one off RFPs
The candidate will be an established Business Development Manager and must have experience working in a law firm. Ideally, the firm is looking for somebody with business development experience covering a financial services sector or service line. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be confident, an excellent communicator and will be able to ‘hit the ground running’.
