Business Development Manager (Thames Valley)– full mix role with potential to be client facing in leading Thames Valley law firm. Reading or Uxbridge based with hybrid working.
This regional law firm is one of the leading law firms in the Thames Valley area and really punches above its weight. Its client base includes large international corporates as well as SMEs. What’s more, it has a well established marketing and business development function where innovation thrives. In addition, marketing has the full support of the partnership.
In this Business Development Manager role you will be aligned to the firm’s B2B service line, targeting businesses both large and small. The target market is across a range of sectors including financial services, automotive and real estate. This is a full mix role with the opportunity for the right candidate to be client
facing. Responsibilities include:
- Working with partners to develop a sales pipeline through identifying leads and opportunities;
- Developing marketing campaigns to drive new business, particularly around hot topics;
- Encouraging partners to follow up on leads and taking the lead on attending client meetings;
- Managing and building on the firm’s key referrers;
- Leading on bids and proposals;
- Developing profile raising initiatives such as events and client communications;
- Supporting on key client initiatives.
This is great role for someone who enjoys being client facing to really make a difference. Ideally, you will come from a professional services or B2B environment. Being highly motivated with the ability to see projects through to conclusion is key to this role. You must have considerable gravitas with the ability to influence and persuade.
