Business Development Manager Contract

One of the UK’s top twenty accountancy practices is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its marketing team on a 15 month contract. This organisation has a solid reputation as well as a strong client base  The marketing team that has an excellent reputation in addition to engagement from the business.


In this Business Development Manager role, you will work alongside one other Business Development Manager. The role is largely focused on bids and involves:


  • Management and co-ordination of bids, tenders and RFPs
  • Writing bid content
  • Conducting business development research, helping identify targets also preparing client meeting packs
  • Leading the tender feedback process and creating reports on wins/losses/learning points
  • Collaborating with partners and staff to promote bid best practice and use of online bid tools too
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to deliver firm wide ad-hoc BD projects/campaigns and client satisfaction surveys.


Candidates must have extensive experience of managing multiple bids and BD projects within a professional services firm.  You will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills too.  In addition you will have excellent analytical ability.  Ideally, you will be immediately available or able to give short notice for this 15 month contract role.
