Business Development Manager


Business Development Manager – full mix role with focus on client relationship management. Leading on initiatives for the aviation, infrastructure and energy sector group.

This major international law firm is well known for its entrepreneurial approach and great culture. In this Business Development Manager role you will lead on all marketing and BD activities for the firm’s renowned aviation sector group as well as the growing infrastructure and energy sector groups. You will also manage the firm’s public procurement practice group.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the marketing and business development plans for the groups.
  • Working closely with the client relationship team to develop the groups’ key clients. This will include identifying opportunities for growth and encouraging partners to cross-sell;
  • Identifying hot topics to use for campaigns and targeting initiatives;
  • Driving BD activity;
  • Producing content and developing profile raising initiatives.

You will have experience of working in a professional services environment, ideally a law firm. Line management experience is ideal as well as some experience of the energy, aviation, infrastructure or public sector.
