Job Description

Business Development Executive (FS Sector Group)

Business Development Executive aligned to the Financial Services sector. International Law Firm. Birmingham based. Competitive Salary.

 

Business Development Executive opportunity in this international law firm, with a friendly working culture. The role has come about due to team growth and will work with the firm’s Senior BD Manager for their Financial Services Sector group. The BD Executive will deliver core strategies for their Finance, Tax and Corporate practices, working closely with fee earners in the group. The role will not be bid heavy, as they have a centralized bid team, and instead focus on client and market development.

 

The Business Development Executive’s role will include:

  • Developing business plans and strategies for Fee Earners in the group
  • Carrying out thorough client analysis as well as reporting on the FS group’s activities
  • Developing written collateral for the group
  • Supporting on client targeting initiatives
  • General support across events, budgeting, and bids, as needed.

 

The role would suit perhaps a business development assistant/administrator looking for a step up to Executive. Experience within professional services, such as legal, accountancy, consultancy, would be ideal. An interest and/or experience of the FS sector would also be needed. Candidates must process strong written ability and high attention to detail.
