This national law firm is a real breath of fresh air with a great culture, where innovation thrives. The marketing and business development function is led by a really dynamic and high energy leader who has grown the team including the bid function.
This bid manager will work in a dedicated bid team on a wide variety of bids but also other written marketing materials such as brochures. The role is a varied role working across a number of different sectors (both public and private sector) including insurance, education, healthcare and real estate. You will focus on:
- Client research;
- Creating, writing and editing innovative bid responses;
- Coaching partners on pitch presentations;
- Taking and actioning client feedback;
- Developing bid best practice and materials; and
- Conducting bid training across the business.
Due to the national nature of the firm, the role can be based in Manchester, Birmingham or London.
You will have really solid bid management and bid writing experience gained within professional services and ideally within a law firm. Public sector bidding would be highly beneficial for this role. You will have excellent project management skills as well as excellent writing skills, and a positive and creative, solutions based approach.
