    Business Development Manager (Oxford)

     

    Business Development Manager (Oxford).  This newly merged law firm offers a culture that is genuinely different to the larger City law firms (this role will be based in Oxford).  With a group of Partners who work closely with the BD team, this is a fantastic opportunity to really make a different.  With a lot of energy and excited around the firm, it’s an exciting time to join and help them grow both new and existing relationship.  This Business Development Manager role will play a large role in the management of the pitching and business intelligence requirements as well as the facilitation of cross-selling across existing relationships.  In addition the role will provide strategic guidance to some of our key / emerging sectors.  Responsibilities include:

     

    • Oversee the development and implementation of business unit and sector BD plans.
    • Manage the execution of planned BD activities, coordinating with key fee-earners to monitor and measure ROI.
    • Work with fee-earners to scope opportunities in new markets and thereafter create BD strategy plans for client and revenue acquisition.
    • Account management for selected clients, supporting partners on developing their business plans and executing on cross-selling initiatives.
    • Manage the development and execution of the pitching process and the preparation of materials for formal and informal pitches.
    • Review and monitor key competitor activity and key clients.
